The impact of BMI, parity and age of first pregnancy in lobular BC

10 December 2022

Dr Karen Van Baelen, a PhD researcher at the KULeuven, is currently doing a research project on primary invasive lobular breast cancer. At the SABCS 2022, she presented two posters for this population. The first poster showed whether BMI is associated with changes in clinicopathological features and prognosis. In a second poster, she investigated if parity and age at the first full-term pregnancy are associated with the prevalence of ER+ HER2- pure invasive lobular breast cancer in an ER+ HER- breast cancer cohort.
