Defining oligoprogression in NSCLC
During an educational session at WCLC, Prof Dr Yolande Lievens, a radiation oncologist from Ghent University, gave a presentation on the topic of oligoprogression. She began by explaining that there is no clear agreement on the definition of oligoprogression and that the diagnosis is based on imaging. To address this issue, ESTRO and EORTC have developed a pragmatic approach for categorizing oligometastatic disease.
