Immune profiling in immune checkpoint inhibitor-related pneumonitis

Dr. Pierre van Mol from the KU Leuven Laboratory for Translational Genetics presented his research at ELCC 2023, which revealed that a low CXCL10:IL-8 ratio in the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid of immune checkpoint inhibitor-related pneumonitis, mirroring absence of neutrophilic inflammation and a strong interferon-gamma driven immune response respectively, distinguishes ICI-pneumonitis from control patients.
