NEO-GLITIPNI trial

The NEO-GLITIPNI clinical trial investigates the combination of neoadjuvant intravenous ipilimumab and nivolumab, followed by intracerebral (iCer) and intracavitary (iCav) administration of ipilimumab and nivolumab for recurrent glioblastoma.
Initial data showed that a four-week neoadjuvant treatment schedule was too long, as three out of five patients did not reach resection. However, changes in the tumour were observed, prompting a revision to shorten the neoadjuvant treatment to one cycle before resection.
The trial continues, aiming to assess the clinical outcomes and investigate the effects of ICI on the tumour microenvironment in resected tissue.
