Advances in the science and care of persons with bleeding disorders
Professor Cathérine Lambert, a hematologist at Cliniques Universitaires Saint-Luc in Brussels, provided us with a comprehensive overview during the ‘Advances in the Science and Care of Persons with Bleeding Disorders’ session.
Her presentation covered various topics, including the assessment of joint health in patients receiving prophylaxis for haemophilia through a cross-sectional survey, an update on the phase 3 ATLAS-PPX study that analysed the efficacy and safety of fitusiran for patients with hemophilia A or B who have switched from prior clothing factor concentrate or bypassing agent prophylaxis, and interim results of the ADVANCE+ study of efgartigimod for patients with primary immune thrombocytopenia.
